THE WHITEWELD FOUNDATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE AT PROJECT KIDS WORLDWIDE & THE NEW YORK THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER (NYTRC).

The Whiteweld Foundation is a Prime Example of Altruism

NEW YORK, NY – The Whiteweld Foundation is hard at work planning, sponsoring and participating in altruistic events. As always, a portion of their net proceeds are distributed directly to charitable organizations dedicated to protecting and nurturing children everywhere. During the summer months, The Whiteweld Foundation donated $5,000 to the New York Therapeutic Riding

Center and $5,000 to Project Kids Worldwide. The New York Therapeutic Riding Center (NYTRC) helps adults and children with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. While learning to become
good riders they acquire the skills needed to accomplish their rehabilitation objectives. The NYTRC serves people living in the five boroughs. They also accept referrals. For more information about NYTRC call 212-535-3917.

Project Kids Worldwide works in conjunction with international social agencies and organizations in locating children with congenital and acquired heart disease
in underserved areas across the globe. The children are then brought to the United States for life saving surgery and the opportunity to enhance and enrich their lives. In addition, The Whiteweld Foundation supported the Centuria Tour de Fort Lee bicycle ride in September. The Centuria Tour de Fort Lee was a 12-mile bike tour though historic Fort Lee. All the money raised went directly to the Fort Lee Education Foundation. Centuria Corporation, a member of the Whiteweld family of companies hosted this special event.

Furthermore, The Whiteweld Foundation's primary fundraiser is the Whiteweld Concert Series. A variety of legendary musicians have taken the stage for this noteworthy cause. Dionne Warwick and special guest Peabo Bryson will take center stage on November 16, 2006 at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. This will be the first time Warwick and Bryson perform together on the same bill. This special concert named The Dream Tour will benefit the Love Our Children USA organization. Their mission is to break the cycle of violence against children through public education, youth mentoring and advocacy. Tickets are now on sale for this star studded event. For tickets call Center Charge at 212-721-6500.

Monies raised by the Foundation go to community services, health initiatives, scholarships, cultural arts programs, and other outreach programs that improve the lives of children.
